this month has been amazing so far! I booked and shot a commercial for Metrocable in Spanish. So if you watch Telemundo and Univision I’m coming.

I also got cast in a show called You Are Now the Owner of This Suitcase being done by the great theatre company   167. Check out this great article about them in the Times:

Also I just got back from an inspirational week in Cambridge, New York where I was a part of The Freight Project. A week long play workshop produced by Oscar and Lottie Productions. I had the honor of working on a new play by Mando Alvarado and we are doing a production here in NYC in October. More on that soon

so I am now only a week away from playing Hamlet here in NYC and can safely say I am not nervous at all! Why you ask? Well I just ate peyote that’s why! In all seriousness, please come out and see this great production of one of theatre’s oldies but goodies. Melody Brooks is an amazing director and I think you’ll love her interpretation of the story.  I am blessed to be working with a very talented cast and they are helping me look much better than I am. so this has easily been the best month I have had in NYC as an actor. I booked two commercials (NFL DRAFT, ESPNDeportes), a BIG voice-over session (PEARSON EDUCATION), and am opening a show tonight that I am producing and acting in! When it rains it pours!

first off happy new year to all and I hope your vacations were as good as mine. The new year has been great so far for me. I booked and recorded a VO gig for Pearson Education. I had to sing in the session so I guess that means I have officially laid down a track!

Also I have been cast as Hamlet in a production of the show by the wonderful theatre company New Perspectives that will go up in May.

Lastly, I am in the process of production a night of short plays by four of the best up and coming Latino playwrights in the country; Raul Castillo (Knives and other Sharp Objects @ the Public), Mando Alvarado (Post No Bills @ Rattlestick), Tanya Saracho (Goodman Member), and Jerry Ruiz (Repretorio Español). It’s called One Night in the Valley and will go up in March and April.

Now for the news since I got back. I was cast as an Under-5 on the Maury Povich show. No my friends, the show isn’t fake, I was cast in a reenactment scene. I play a prettty skeezy dude. But hey, I MADE IT!!!!

Also I was cast in a reading of the new play Buela’s Cenntenial by the great writer Rob Santana. It’s being done at the wonderful Repretorio Español on 138 E 27th Street. It’s on December 1st at 6:30pm and it’s part of a contest and the winner gets a full production, so please come and support.
